Is the Purpl PRO as accurate as lab testing?

Our results are calibrated against lab HPLC data and validated with published studies. While not a legal substitute for regulatory compliance testing, Purpl PRO delivers highly accurate internal testing.

Can it test concentrates?

Yes! Our Premium Extract Model supports oils, distillates, and more.

How long does it take?

About 10 seconds per sample. No prep (Grinding the sample is required for flower measurements). No cleanup. (Brushing off residue from the previous sample on grinder and sensor is recommended to not alter next sample’s results).

What forms of cannabis can the Purpl PRO test?

The Purpl PRO can test dried flower out of the box. With the Premium Extract Model, you can also test oils, distillates, and other extracts. We don’t currently support testing for edibles or live plant material.

Does the Purpl PRO damage the sample?

No. Our testing method is completely non-destructive. You can reuse the same sample after testing.

Can I export my test results?

Yes. You can save, label, and export test results to a spreadsheet or share them via email for recordkeeping or analysis.

What kind of maintenance does the device require?

Minimal. You’ll need to clean the sample holder regularly and recalibrate the device using the included reference. The battery is rechargeable and lasts for hundreds of cycles.

Do you offer training or support?

Yes! We offer video tutorials, a helpdesk site with searchable articles, and a dedicated customer support team. You can also request live demos or onboarding assistance for teams and distributors.
